Notes

Mostly Lamb’s Pride with some Peace Fleece mixed in. I took measurements and sketched out a shape before starting and then filled in the colors and patterns as I went along. The spontaneity was really enjoyable.

I knew that I wanted a different pattern for the sleeves and made a long swatch to experiment with different patterns. I never could settle on just one, and so the sleeves ended up duplicating the all the different variations in the test swatch!

Several years after I made the sweater, I lost weight and it no longer fit. I cut it apart and serged the edges and sewed it back together. It’s not perfect, but it’s a lot of fun to wear.

The sweater is quite customized, with lots of shaping to it. I was surprised at how well it adapted to my models, whose builds are different from mine.

Thanks again to my beautiful models: Greer Saddler and Kennedy Nelson.
