St G- 4.66, All yarns are used doubled up. I love, that I am using up stash! I will use 3 colors for the jacket, a grey with black slubs and a blue-black on a natural white.
I knitted the back and fronts according to directions. But, after sewing back and fronts together, I realized, the neck line was too wide. So I ripped and re- knitted using my measurements. It fits now.
I did a provisional cast on under the arms for the sleeves and knitted the cap first. I then basted the cap into the arm hole. It fit perfectly and I picked up the provisional cast on and knitted the sleeves down to the wrist.
I am using the two darker colors for the reverse crochet around the edges instead of the white. I am very pleased with the look.
I am closing the jacket with snaps and have decided not to put buttons on top. I am very pleased, how it turned out.
