I started knitting the shawl in the round with 2 double pointed needles and 9 steek stitches. I cast on 2 motive repeats( 44 st) and steek stitches.( I am not too fond of a sharp point at the bottom of the shawl.) I increased 2 stitches in every row and in every 5th row, 4 stitches. I wanted a wider shawl.
I knit the first dropped stitch in row102 and I am changing background colors every 5th row and pattern colors every 4th row. I have used only stash yarn.
Size with out border: 24X60- I need about 20 stitch patterns for the width=440 St. For hight= pattern repeats.
Background colors beige / grey.
The shawl is 77 inches wide and 28 inches high. It`s weight is 9 5/8 ounces. My 13th project of 2017. My 14th large shawl.
