To be used for shop sample for beginning sock knitting class at Main Street Yarns. I put finished since I intended to knit one for the shop sample and take it back later after I got the other one finished.

Yarn is aran rather than worsted, and makes a very heavy sock. It fits my daughter well and will make a great boot sock, since I knit so firmly, but might be too big for the pattern as written (for worsted weight) for folks who don’t knit socks at such a firm gauge, but it is the color Katie wanted. It is a beautiful heathered purple she couldn’t find a solid she liked in Cascade 220 superwash.

Started sock Friday evening, finished Saturday evening and I even did other things on Saturday besides knit! I could easily knit a whole pair in a weekend. Going to knit one in white cascade for the class and make another purple one for Katie so that she won’t have to wait until the class is over to wear them.
