April 11th: I am finally finished. I started it out and I messed up the stitch count somewhere along the way, so I started anew with grey for the first part and the light blue for the second, and the cast on was knit double with both colours. I really, really like how the colours turned out and I did pretty well on the pattern, but there are a few mistakes which are largely due to my circular not being long enough to pull the shawl out to look at it.
Tomorrow I’m going to block it and see how it turns out.

March 25th:
I had a lot of fun knitting the first part of this, it was very simple and after a few repeats I hardly had to think of what I was doing.
I’m all the way though the first part of the pattern, next up is the more complicated part, I’ve tried it a few times but I still cant manage to get the numbers to line up right. I’ve torn it back to the end of the first part and tomorrow after some sleep I’m going to try to work on it.
