I’m glad I have a child I can dress up in Noro and some leftover cotton :)

The lace-weight blend of cotton, wool and silk makes the fabric very light despite the gathers. It’s beautiful!

Pattern notes:
Knit the red garter gathers on 3 mm. and Sekku with 3.5 mm.
To hit size 8 I provisionally cast on 102 sts. Placed markers for fronts, sleeves and back after 18, 16 and 34 sts.
When changing to Sekku I k3, kfb and did 9 rows all together (k3, k2tog on the last row).
Did four sections of gathers before dividing for sleeves with a stitch count of 37/56/76/56/37. Continued the body with three sections and the sleeves with one. I-cord bind-off all edges with 3.5 mm and added Kate Davies’s i-cord buttonholes

I honestly didn’t believe I would be able to find matching buttons – but I did :)
