ERRATA: There is an error in the written instructions for this pattern. The chart is correct. If you’re not a chart reader, then on Row 1 it should say “Dc in first ch of base ch, 16 dcs over ch…” and on all repeats of the motif.

March 12, 2013 I have no idea when this was started but long enough ago to gradually get about 16” of it done. I would like to put a header on it rather than the wimpy chain strips and use it as an edging rather than an insertion.

In rating this pattern I’m only giving it four stars because of the instruction error and because the chain strips don’t seem an adequate border for the lovely arches — a design issue.
