The design-your-own part of the Weaving Class with Linda. I did all the yardage calculations first. The warp were 180 ends of yellow + white yarns (90 ends each colour). I hold two yarns together while winding the warp. When dressing the loom, I picked random colour (not strips) to thread. Warp yarns are some unknow fibre contents of 2-ply fingering weight. Wove weft yarns in Twill & Plain pattern.

Twisted the fringes by cutting ends into 5.5” length. Three plys twisted with fringe twister a total of 25 rounds and knoted at the end.

Use Laura Fry’s wet finishing technique: after socking in hot water for 15 min, tumble throw it on to a surface 400 times to shrink the fabric. The length shrink quite a bit but not so much of the width.
