30 June - finished! Not the most enjoyable of projects, entirely due to the yarn - even after wet blocking it’s not as soft as previous things I’ve knitted with Summer Tweed, it also doesn’t have the flecks of different colours in it that they had, I suspect this yarn is an earlier version of ST - it was very cheap in a sale.

The jumper is lovely though, very flattering, I can see me wearing it a lot. I’ll try and get some modelled photos soon.

25 June 2008 - I like Summer Tweed when it’s knitted up, but the actual knitting is hard work! There’s just no give in the yarn, and it’s quite slow to knit with - it feels somewhat akin to knitting with reconstituted cardboard…. But it’s mindless knitting to do whilst watching Wimbledon, and I’m getting there - I’ve done the back, and about half of the front.
