14 Feb - I’ve had this yarn in my stash for a while now, so I thought it was time to use it. My gauge before blocking is 21sts/4”, after blocking it’s spot on at 19sts/4”. I did a provisional cast on for the hem and knitted it in instead of sewing it up later, it was fiddly but the neat result is worth it.

All finished! It grew as planned on blocking, although the neck is perhaps a little wider than I’d have liked - if I was doing it again I’d do a couple more decrease rows to pull it in a bit. I made the sleeves an inch shorter than the pattern said, just as well, eating in them is still a little fraught with the danger that they’ll end up in your dinner!
