I’m not sure why I started this in a very cold February, but I had a sudden urge, so I went with it! The patten is clear and well written, just need to see if it fits when I’ve done….

The colour hasn’t come out well on the photos, it’s more of a terracotta colour, not as pink as it looks.

The yarn is eight 2-ply threads, quite tightly spun so not at all splitty to knit with, but it doesn’t work too well for the decreases in the lace patter, the threads are tending to separate, with hindsight I might have been better changing to a centred decrease, but too late now. It’s lovely to knit with though, and makes a very nice drapey fabric.

23 Feb - all done! The crochet edging was a bit tedious, but it looks okay. Modelled photos to come when it’s a bit warmer and I’ve lost half a stone or so for summer!
