Loosely followed recipe, swapping out yarn colors at random, preferring a blended schmearing of colors rather than obvious striping. Other than making color decisions, pattern is fairly mindless fun. I wanted an oversized cozy blanketish shawl so continued beyond the stated end of pattern, finishing up with 275 stitches at bind off.

Initially I was carrying several yarns up the side but that became a tangled nightmare. Then I tried working ends in as I went along but the leading edge became puckered & not pretty. Ultimately I settled for having a bajillion ends to weave in but it was definitely worth it.

Colors used in addition to Glitter & Diana are Arco Iris, Lavanda, Hollyhock, Frank Ochre & Kris. I’m in love with this shawl even though Blue Book value exceeds my car.
