New year, new sock start.

My plan is to knit 3 pairs of socks for my dad this year. This is the first pair.

I will knit it cuff down though.

do not knit round 19 and 18

round 3 in MC but decrease
round 2 in MC
round 1 in MC

row 1 (RS): sl1 wyib, k 18, ssk, k1; turn
row 2 (WS): sl1 wyif, p 6, p2tog, p1; turn
row 3 (RS): sl1 wyib, k to 1 st before gap, ssk, k1; turn
row 4 (WS): sl1 wyif, p to 1 st before gap, p2tog, p1; turn

repeat rows 3 and 4 until all sts have been worked

there are 19 sts on the needle
