No Holes Version I hated the double line of yarn overs! I thought the edge was too thin with two stitches so I added a stitch to each edge. Here are my alterations with three stitch edge. If you want it like mine just start with a three stitch tab and added 2 to all the stitch totals. I.e. 14 stitches rather than 12.
- Three stitch tab start with 16 rows and picked up and purled 8 stitches add marker pick up three cast on stitches. 14 stitch total. Right sides** Knit 3, m1r, Kfb, m1r knit until 1 stitch left before border stitches (3 stitches)m1l, kfb, m1l then knit border. Wrong sides k3 purl across them then (k3).

Bound off with k1 then repeated kfb and slip two over. Very stretchy
