I had to rip back and start over several times -- but finally got new Addi Lace circulars and learned to knit this when no one is around -- and it’s going much easier. P.S. This is my first real lace project! I admit, I was hesitant to tackle this as it looked so complicated, but it really was quite easy once I got the hang of it. Anne Hanson is a wonderful pattern writer (and this from a former tech writer).

6/7 - whew, finished! I was binding off, about four stitches from the end, when I dropped the remaining stitches off my needle. Yes, you could hear me crying here in Boston down in Tasmania. I had to carefully tink back about seven rows to sort everything out. Washed and blocked it overnight, and now it’s off to Connecticut as a dear friend’s (long overdue) birthday prezzie.
