Notes

I knit this up in about a week. I love knitting cables but I’m not ready for a cabled sweater, so this was a great project for me. The directions were clear and easy to follow, which I loved -- it is a great pattern for someone who has advanced beyond simple stockinette stitch scarves and wants a challenge without too much commitment. I knit this with merino wool I picked up at my LYS for $4 a skein -- it used up one 115 yard skein and a little bit of a second skein.

The photos were taken before scarf was blocked. The yarn looks very olive in one shot, but it’s really a bright grassy green (top photo, around neck).

I knit the large side and I’m glad I did -- it’s not a substantial scarf, so I appreciate the couple extra inches around my neck.
