Notes

I knit the center section over a long weekend. My goal is to knit one of the four panels each month so that the blanked will be completed by February. Finished my October section early, so I stared the November section on Oct. 21, this because I have a lot of gift knitting scheduled for the next couple months.

Ordered 2 more skeins -- didn’t order enough in Sept

Started lace panel on 2nd side.

Finally finished, wove in all tails, soaked, blocked, and dried when horror of all horrors, I found two huge pulls/holes where the yarn had come undone. I was able to do some repair, but I’m despondent that a project I worked so hard on and looked so beautiful when I was finished has such noticeable flaws. (I’m blaming the cat!) I’m consoling myself that the blanket was made with a lot of love for my niece or nephew and they really won’t care that much about some wonky knitting. ;-)
