Notes

Honestly, I didn’t really read the pattern. I could tell from the picture that it was so well written, I would know what to do from looking at the photo. First, I took off most of my clothes; knitting right onto my body definitely saved hours of time. The only problem was, I was out in the front yard enjoying the sun while I knit my One-Hour-Sweater and the neighbors saw me. I hate my neighbors. They resent me because I buy good wool and tend to cover up my body with it. I think they were jealous when they saw what I’d been hiding under the alpaca all these months. We’re talking hubba hubba! The next thing I knew, the Bedford police were at my door … well, my lawn chair. They couldn’t stop looking either. I don’t know if it was because I was nearly naked, or that they were so impressed with my sweater. I told them I just needed another fifteen minutes and my bare chest would be properly swathed in sweater (it’s knit bottom up; my only criticism of the pattern is that it would cause fewer problems if knit top-down), thus eliminating the traffic jam in front of our home. They just weren’t interested, though. I waved to my neighbors as the cops carted me off and yelled, “Next week, I’m going to yarn bomb your recycling bin. Watch out! Vengeance will be mine!”

The good news? My sweater is finished -- I was able to work the last bits in the back of the police cruiser -- but the bad news is the cops confiscated it before they put me in my holding cell and now all I have to show for it is a court date on April 31st to answer to a charge of public nudity.

Thus, no pictures. Sorry folks! But I highly recommend the pattern.
