Notes

The yarn is from a cowl I never wore. The yarn was too pretty to go to waste so I frogged my work, washed the yarn, and reskeined it.

I must have used any leftover yarn from the cowl project for my scrappy socks, so I had only 58 grams of wool to work with. I created two 29-gram cakes of wool, one for each sock.

I used VeryPink’s instructions for a provisional cast on, then created the toe using her German short row toe tutorial as a guide.

My feet are 9.375” long, so I knit a little over 7 3/4” before starting the heel.
