My first Owls sweater went to my mom. Now I have a matching brown one. Hers doesn’t have button eyes--mine does.

I started this last year but put it aside once I knit up to the arms and the weather started getting warmer. I picked it up again in January 2015 and pretty much finished knitting it over a weekend, knitting an arm each night then blasting through the cabled yoke. Then I grit my teeth and sewed on the 38 tiny buttons by hand, the only tiresome part of working on this sweater.
