Won this yarn at the Rose City Yarn Crawl 2017 in Portland and finally casting it on in even stripes of 4 rows each of the base color and the variegated colors of this set.
Cast on stitches for a 40” sweater (between the 38” and 42” sizes). This is an easy sweater to modify. Started at the top and knit the sides separately, but then joined under the arm holes and knit in the round with a false seam (single purl stitch) at the sides. Panicked that I wouldn’t have enough yarn so decreased below arm holes back to a 38” size number of stitches. Ended up having plenty of yarn so went back and added a few stripes to the top of the sweater (you can see the tan part at the top) to add length to the arm holes because I was worried it wouldn’t stretch much. Then did 3 needle bind off for the shoulder seams and regular bind off for the neck.
Because I had equal amounts of yarn of fuchsia and then various colors in 5 mini skeins, I altered the color stripes. I did 4 row stripes of each color, alternating through 5 mini skeins of varying colors with the fuchsia as background color. Very happy with the resulting color pattern!

Finished this finally after hauling it all around with me this summer.
Final measurements after blocking (it grew a couple of inches in length but not much in width): 18” long, 21” wide, 8” height arm holes.
I did a stretchy bind off and it ended up making the bottom widen out quite a bit, but I think it will be fine for the loose fit of this sweater.
