The guage I used before was too small, so I ended up doubling the yarn, sizing up to size 3 needles and CO 144 stitches.

This seems to have met gauge, but its a bit tight- I’m pretty sure I can block it out.

Well its cast off, woven in, and blocked! I am SO happy with how this turned out, it’s thick, soft and super warm. Perfect for our trip to Iceland! I’m really happy blocking removed the tightness around the headband area, maybe a little too loose. But I think with time it might shrink down. This yarn held double was perfect!

I’m really happy with how the tassel came out too. But the crown decreases are a little weird. I had a hard time figuring out the colors with decreases from the chart so I just decreased before my marker and adjust color alternations as needed to keep in pattern.

I also used a different heart design for one of the bands because I didn’t like how the one in the pattern knit up. I’ve attached it
