I loved working and wearing the ponytail roll-brim hat from the book “Knitgrrl,” and for this one I just reworked the math so I could make another one but in this bulkier yarn.
For this one, I cast on 54 stitches. For the ponytail opening, I’ll only bind off 6. When it comes time to do the crown decreasing, I’ll divide the stitches into seven segments of 8 stitches each (with stitch markers) and dec on every other round until it looks like the remaining stitches need cinching up.
