Notes

Since this was my first fair isle bit of knitting, I kept it simple by just doing a pull over. But I enjoyed the process so much, that my next one will definitely be a cardigan, and will be done in a wool blend.
Lemme tell ya, learning to knit both English and Continental, which is the upshot of this book’s technique, has proven to be a priceless skill!
And the Yarn Harlot’s advice to drink wine before your first steeking - dead on!
Everyone’s assurances that steeking will turn out just fine, also accurate, lol. Have faith and leap into some color play :-D

As an afterthought, I think my next one will see the sleeves done differently. I’ll still steek for the armhole openings, but will pick up stitches and knit the sleeves thataway, instead of the book’s method of doing the sleeves separately and attaching them later.

Fourteen years later, and I still love this sweater, lol. I wear it a lot, every winter!
