Thank goodness for the schematic at the end of the pattern, ‘cause I’m using some handspun that’s thick-n-thin, lol. Weird how the band came out to guage perfectly, but the next part was way short row-wise, lol. So I knitted until that part was the 3.5 inches it needed to be.
I joined in the round at the pattern’s row 24 instead of the instructed 31, ‘cause the hair opening was already looking big to me.

6/20/2013 I crocheted a hair scrunchy out of some of the leftover yarn, ya know, for the end of my braid :-)
