Today, while I run last minute holiday prep errands, I’ll scout for the perfect buttons for this. Then I’ll get a photo up. I’m thinking blond wood toggle buttons.

The yarn, though it looks awful in the skein, makes a really nice fabric that I can’t stop petting. But in the skein? It looks like something you’d pull out of the canister of bagless vacuum cleaners. Just another one of those life lessons about judging things prematurely, I reckon, ‘cause I really like the fabric it knits into.

This project was my quickie reward to myself for having stayed on task in so many areas of my life, here lately. Now it’s back to the holiday knitting…
