I looked at patterns online, on my knitting calendars, and in books, and liked some handles but other stitches for the body, and just mixed and matched.
The only one that’s close to the original pattern as written, is the yellow and white one, which came from Lion Brand’s online free patterns.
The yarn is just worsted acryllic. After a stash swap one day with our group, this poor yellow yarn is quite literally the one I couldn’t even give away.
Yet in the true eco spirit of using what’s onhand, I now shop my butt off with my yellow bags :-D
