This started out as a birthday present for a very special someone, but when I showed it to some knitting friends, they friendly pressured me into making a pattern to its specifics.

The convinced me that a lot of people would like a Letho that is shaped different from the original, so I took the plunge.
Although the sample was made for a man, I don’t think this is a very gender specific pattern, but neither is the original, in my opinion. I think the man in question looks absolutely dashing in this version, but I could definitely see it working great on a woman’s body as well.

This version has less positive ease, the sleeves have less of a dolman shape and smaller cuffs, it has a longer standard length and added buttonholes.
The features that make this cardigan stand out from the crowd are still there, like the cool welts and slip stitch colorwork.

And you know what the fun thing is; we can go all matchy-matchy and observe the effect on innocent bystanders
