Notes

Test knit for the my friend Nancy, and I enjoyed it so very much! It gave me a chance to brush up on my Brioche skills (that were pretty non-existent), I have this gorgeous shawl to show for it, and it was so much fun seeing the shapes appear during the process.

For the Brioche part, i had to go down a needle sixze (from 3.5 to 3.25 mm) to make it look acceptable. Since it was the very first time doing 2-color Brioche, we might have to factor in my inexperience with the matter.

I always thought two color Brioche was just a little too much on the busy and cutesy side for my taste, but done in my signature porridge colors and an honest woolen yarn, it turns out I can handle it very well, esthetically speaking.

Oh, and I know the center part looks a little different then that of the sample. I forgot one center increase and I noticed it 24 rows later. I’m sure you would have left it as it is too wink
