These have been finished for a while now, and I guess the fact that I made not one, but two Yara’s says something about how much I love this shawl.

The color possibilities are endless, and now I’ve seen the gorgeous versions by the testers, I’m very tempted to make a third one…

Yara has a super wearable shape, she’s big, like I prefer my shawls, but not overwhelmingly so.

For the monochrome sample I used the Vilje plus the Spindrift in Yellow Ocher and Madder, and the green sample is made of the Tukuwool combined with the Spindrift in Scotch Broom and Old Gold.

Although the yarns are both super lovely and very similar in respect to their properties (Vilje is 375 m per 100 gr, while the Tukuwool is 390 m per 100 gr), the shawl made out of the Tuku has a little more drape, it seems.
