I like the textural effect of the “bumps”/“flaps” (which remind me of leaves-- maybe because of the color scheme of the sample block).

I’m not sure my color placement was as good as it could have been. The pink seems to de-emphasize the “leafy flaps”, but it’s okay. I’m sure it’ll be pretty enough, mixed in with the rest of the blocks.

I skipped the tapestry edging, because my block was coming out bigger than the others already made for this afghan, and I needed to make some alterations. Alright, I could have started the tapestry crochet a round early, but I didn’t want to. :oP
