I’m making this square for my “Be of Good Cheer” Samplerghan. :o)

This was a fun square to crochet. :o)

I deviated from the pattern a little bit, though. (I wanted to shorten my stitches to be sure I could fit all my colors into the square before it hit 12 inches.)

After three “granny” rounds, I worked a couple rounds of alternating hdc and ch-1. (On the second of these, I put the hdc into the ch-1 spaces of the previous round.) Then I added another granny round and finished with a round of hdc in every stitch.

41 sts per side on last round (not counting corner ch sp).
