Notes

Round 10 bothered me because of an apparent lack of symmetry. (You’ll know what I mean when you read the pattern.) However, it only seems asymmetrical in writing; in practice, it all works out, so note to future self: Just trust the pattern. ;o)

My block was turning out a little on the small side. (After getting over halfway through, I read that it might be a good idea to go up a hook size for this one.) However, the smallness was easily remedied. I switched the second-to-last round to double crochet (instead of single), and for the very last round (before the equalizer and border rounds), I alternated hdc and fpdc (instead of sc).

I’m happy with how this one turned out, though one or two elements (mainly the “leafy” corner clusters) could’ve “popped” even more if I’d arranged my colors differently. I’m satisfied enough that there’s absolutely no way I’d rip it back. (g)

Shown with Canada Goose Border.
