I’m feeling the need for a comforting, simple crochet project, and I think this will do nicely. It’s also the perfect time to try out some reclaimed linen-cotton blend yarn I recently acquired.

I set it aside for more than a month, the picked it back up and realized that I’d never recorded the hook size I’d been using. Oops! I think it was an H, so that’s what I’m using now.

I probably could’ve gone an even bigger hook (back when I started), but I guess this’ll work… It has some drape, but it’s turning out smaller than I’d envisioned. I don’t know if I’ll ever wear the thing, anyway, but I’ll probably try to make it larger by adding a few more rows before starting the edging.
