Notes

For my Whispers of Spring Sampler.
Using the Canada Goose block border.

The center of the block is fairly thick and heavy, which can be a good thing or not, depending on taste and needs. I love the starry look of the overlapping front-post stitches. Puff stitches continue to give me trouble, but I think they turned out well enough, at least.

For round 12, I worked the double crochets into the back “bump” of the previous round’s stitches. Not the “back loop only”, but the little horizontal bar just below that, on the back of the work. I thought it would add a bit more texture and maybe show more of the color of the previous round (since I’d taken the trouble to add in another color for that round).

To get it to the same size as the rest of the blocks for this sampler, I left off a few rounds and substituted a round of hdc and fpdc (the pink round).
