ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am never ever ever EVER making this pattern again. Next year, store-bought all the way. Life is too short to make things I LOATHE making. Plus I have a cold and may not even get to go to the family Christmas get-together where I was planning to give this… (Pity me.) ~SIGH~ If I had a choice, I wouldn’t even finish the darn thing. I HATE SEWING PIECES TOGETHER!!! ~foams at the mouth, stomps feet, throws fist through the wall, etc.~ How in the bleep did I manage to sew the ear to the TOP of the head? ~violent sob~

Well, it’s done. I have struggled with sewing this thing together-- and with attaching the hair to the head so that it won’t (easily) come unraveled. By comparison, embroidering the eyes was a breeze. Probably because by the time I was doing that, I was too tired to be picky about it.

Now I just have to go back and finish the other one I started… ~soft weeping~

It’s a cute toy, but golly, I don’t like sewing the pieces together.

Now that I’ve had time to cool down… ;o)

Well, yes, sewing it together wasn’t fun, but I’ve recovered from the traumatic experience of discovering that I’d attached an ear to the top of the head. (You realize that this was after I’d taken the trouble of checking and double-checking that I wasn’t doing so. Talk about adding insult to injury! (g))

It is a very cute little toy. I recommend the pattern-- just take your time and have your treat of choice (chocolate, cake, hard liquor) or an emergency punching-bag on hand, just in case.
