Started this blanket for my niece months before she was due to be born. I picked the colors to go with the nursery which is primarily an aqua blue, orange and pink. Unfortunately half way through making my squares I realized I had switched my hooks so half of the squares where one size and the other half where 1/2” bigger all around. After redoing the squares they then sat around for awhile as I was daunted at the idea of weaving in so many ends. I finally got my butt in gear and finished them off. I stitched them together and finished it with a simple ruffled edging.
