Made some changes to original pattern - picked up stitches for sleeves and then knit them in the round using magic loop. Knit them in stockinette instead of garter.

Also knitting stockinette for the hood instead of garter.

For front Left and Right panels, after knitting to 9 inches, decrease first before binding off 8 stitches - so as follows: WS - k1, k2tog, knit 6, purl to end
RS - k to last three stitches, k2tog, k1
WS - k1, k2tog, knit 6, purl to end
RS - knit all stitches
Next row (WS) BO eight stitches, k to end (17 stitches)
