Great pattern and wonderful hat! I followed Squid’s advise to use a German Twisted CO. I really enjoyed knitting this hat and I’ve ordered her Coastal Knits book on the strength of it ~

I used the leftover yarn to make Oak Grove mitts and now I have a cute set!
