I always feel sorry for the Groke. So cold and alone poor thing. She is scary but hating something just because you’re scared of it simply doesn’t solve anything does it? Another lesson learnt from the Moomins.

First Groke is done. I thought it would make sense to embroider the duplicate stitches before i went any further as it’s a pain trying to do it after the sock is finished. I’ve decided to reverse the design for the second sock.

3.5mm needles for the stranded section but going down to 3mm needles for the heel and foot.

This is a free pattern.
I’ve downloaded the Finnish version of the pattern as I only really need the chart for the Groke design, the rest I can make up myself. I’ll probably just use my tried and tested heel, foot and toe for the socks.
