My inspiration - pink climbing roses on an old garden wall. Many thanks to my neighbour for letting them drift over into my garden for me to enjoy.

I have spare bag handles and a magnificent stash so another bag is on its way. I’m unsure of the motif and shape but that’s half the fun isn’t it? I have decided to use the Sac Fleurs motifs

15 motifs made. I haven’t quite made up my mind as to the finished shape or size of the bag, i think I shall let it develop on its own and see what happens. My motifs are much smaller than those in the pattern as I’m using 4ply yarn and a 2.5mm hook. I think I shall need around 36 motifs for the bag body - or maybe more!

All the motifs are completed, joined, blocked and lined.
I chose the Parisian Chic bag for shape.
Finished!
I decided not to add the frills and fripperies as I prefer the bag as it is. I chose plain black felt for the lining as it gives the bag a plumper look and feel.
