Lavender and White - 2 strands held together. 4 sets of hats and mittens.

Hats - Pattern for babies’ hat, cast on 62 stitches, 2 x 2 rib, knit for 56 rows, take off machine, knit 2 rows of knit 2 together, run yarn needle twice through stitches, Sew up seam.

Mittens - Cast on 31 stitches in 1 x 1 rib size 0. Knit 10 size 1 rib, Change to Half Fisherman’s rib - Knit for 20 rows size 2 stitch. Knit 8 rows rib size 2. Take off machine. Knit the rest by hand. Row 1. Knit 2, knit 2 together. Row 2 - purl. Row 3, knit 1, knit 2 together. Row 3, purl 2 together. Draw yarn through remaining stitches and sew up.
