Notes

2 sets - 2 strands held together - one bulky green and the other the metallic dark green. Yarn is a bulky acrylic, not Breeze by Heirloom.

Tom’s Troop Hat pattern was easy until it asks to pick up the hem. It was difficult to see which stitches to pick up.

Scarves, I just cast on in 1x1 rib and knit until it was over 5 feet long.

Fingerless Mitts - Diana Sullivan’s pattern adapted for the bulky. Cast on 39 stitches in 1 x 1 rib size 0. Knit 20 size 1 rib, Change to Half Fisherman’s rib - Knit for 30 rows size 2 stitch. Knit 10 rows rib size 2. Take off machine to bind off.

Thumb - 7 stitches every other needle back bed, 6 stitches every other needle front bed to cast on size 0. Knit 4 rows size 1 stitch. Change to Half Fisherman’s rib - knit 4 rows. Decrease one stitch, each end, both beds - knit rows, repeat until one stitch remains. End off. Sew gloves together.**

Donated in memory of Donna Lamb.
