Love the pattern. Made a few mods:

• Made only the top 4 button holes.

• With right side facing, SC from bottom of button band across neck and down next button band with same size crochet hook as needles (US7, 4.5mm)

• Used 8 super stretchy cast off stitches in the underside of the wrist of each sleeve.

• Chose a wool with a tighter twist hoping to avoid the excessive pilling of the first sweater.

The arms look long in the picture, but it’s a large and my dress form is a small, so that happens.
