I used a G hook for 1/2 of it, then switched to an H hook and increased by 2 stitches in the V on the last 6 rows. Last row I did a picot in each V and fastened off. Then I went back and attached yarn along the opposite end (the beginning edge), did 2 rows in my beginning chain, matching stitches carefully. For the last row, I TURNED my work and finished with a row including picots in the V’s. This way when I fold it over, it looks the same as the bottom edge. Hard to give away, I really like this one.
