12/13/2010 - The sweater is 100% complete now, and unfortunately, it looks like I’ve gained 40 extra pounds when I wear it. I’m wondering if I should turn it into a cardigan.
12/3/2010 - Done knitting. DONE! All that it needs is to be pressed and sewn up! Horray!
11/24/2010 - So I added bust darts to the front, and then realized afterwards that they are way too high on this sweater, since there doesn’t seem to be any front shoulder shaping for me to base it on. I hate this sweater, and really need to read through the pattern to know what the hell is going on.
11/11/2010 - Started the front today. Almost there!
10/22/2010 - Finally finished the first sleeve and started on the second. I seem to be having trouble concentrating when it comes to the side cables and I’ll have to either rip out, or ladder down to fix the problem. It’s very time consuming.
10/17/2010 - Still working on the first sleeve, but I’m about to work the cap shoulder. The sleeve, before the cap, is 18.5” instead of 18”.
10/08/2010 - Finished the back with a little trouble in the neck. I wasn’t quite sure what the pattern was telling me to do, but with a little knitting and ripping, I was able to figure it out. I started on the sleeves tonight.
10/2/2010 - Ended body before armhole shaping at 15 3/4th inches, instead of 15 inches.
9/19/2010 - Note: My ribbing is 24 rows, not 18. I think it adds an extra half inch or more.
9/17/2010 - Knitted the swatch and cast on the project. I think I may make the ribbing a little longer, or maybe do an extra repeat of the pattern. I’m using the same yarn that Parikha used because I just love how her sweater looks. I opted for the 3 stitch bobble instead of the 5 stitch bobble.
