It is a beautiful pattern but if you want it to look like the hardwood sweater, be sure to watch the direction as stated of the cables, and those who know how to chart, you will see it when charting. I always chart my patterns before making them.
- ERRATA PG 24 HARDWOOD SLEEVE SHOULD READ

Please double check the way your cable is facing, I believe there is another error as well.
Rows 3 and 7 through out the whole pattern do not look right as well, I am not sure what went wrong there when she was writing this out. So like I said take time to look at the direction of the cables and the cr3l, and the cr3r as well as the directions of the c4b which is cabling two to the right, and c4f, cabling two to the left.
9/8/2010 Making this in one peice a.k.a. in the round to the arm. Will CO 184 sts
I have made the pockets as my swatch, added I actually made the cable swatch see photos for schematics.
- 12/16 sts per 4 inches Stockinette: 3 sts per inch width, 4 sts per inch height,
Cable: 3.75 per inch width, 3.50 per height.
9/9/2010 Ok so cast on and pockets are finished. I was thinking about mirroring the cables, seeing I already have one. So, I will make a swatch for reverse cable as well, So, In order to do that on rows 1,3 I will reverse them instead of being C4B. They will go C4F aka reference C2 over 2 left. For those who use that terminology.

NOW THAT I LIKE TO CONSIDER MYSELF A LITTLE OF AN ADVANCED KNITTER, I WILL TREAT MYSELF WITH THIS PATTERN AGAIN, WITH THE KNOWLEDGE I HAVE LEARNED IT SHOULD TURN OUT EVEN NICER. I WILL BE KNITTING IT IN ONE PEICE AND PICKING UP FOR THE SLEEVES.
