I created a pattern for these sweaters by crocheting a swatch using the stitch I was going to use. Then I made copies of the swatch and taped the copies until I had a huge single paper. didn’t use a pattern for either of these.
Instead I pretty much tried to follow the shape of sewing pattern pieces. I outlined a crew sweater in my size onto the paper. The back, the front, the sleeves. From this paper replica of stitches, I created the pattern and use the tracing for the decreases for the arm hole, the sleeves, and the neckline.
The purple one is a mohair I purchased at Maryland Sheep and Wool.
The sunflower is a linen acrylic I bought from Bonnie Triola yarns.
