Laser is on the larger end of the scale as far as Lhasa Apsos go, so I’m making several mods for this to fit him.

Mods

  • upped the gauge by a little bit
  • lengthened the body/rams section
  • cast on more stitches to go around his massive chest
  • added a 5-stitch buttonhole before beginning the sheep so that he can wear a harness underneath for his walks

I started this to get rid of my yarn, but I really enjoyed the whole knitting process. Very fun!

The yarn stretched out quite a bit after his first wear, so I’ve resewn the buttons to make it more snug. That is one very good reason to use the Shetland yarn recommended.
