Notes

After sitting dormant for many years (7?!), it was time to call this quits. I rescued the yarn for some use in the future. It was not a problem with the pattern - I frogged it mainly due to the color and neckline, which I didn’t find flattering on myself. And, of course, after 7 years I knew I wasn’t going to finished it!

I had two skeins and managed to snag another skein in a destash after I ran out!

As my skeins are quite different, though apparently from the same dye lot, I’m alternating all the way through the sweater. It’s a bit annoying to have to carry around two balls of yarn, but the resultant sweater is far more than worth it.

Mods

  • bit of a fudge when placing markers so that the ribbing in the centre Catkin pattern matches with the ribbing in the hem.

  • working two repeats of the centre Catkin panel before beginning waist decreases

  • modified decreases to shorten to a sweater-- not tunic-- length
